A Texas patient praises an AirMed team for flying her to advance care after suffering a serious medical condition, six months after she became an AirMedCare Network member.
Lori Davies is staunch believer in the power of pursuing personal health.
The wellness coach from Marble Falls, Texas has spent a lifetime sharing tips and advice to her clients about the value of making healthy choices. Davies’ statement doesn’t ring hollow, especially because it stems from a frightening experience she encountered six years ago, when she suffered a hepatic hemorrhage following a routine colonoscopy. “I was taken to my local emergency room after experiencing bleeding, but the hospital didn’t have a surgeon available,” recalled Davies. “The hospital, however, found another one that did, as well as a room, but both were in another city, Round Rock.
